Lamborghini Lamborghini Tricolore - a Balboni with a new stripe Yes, it’s another Limited Edition Lamborghini Gallardo (although officially it’s just a one-off at the moment), this one bolted together to celebrate Italy’s 150th Anniversary of Unification and originally named the Lamborghini Gallardo Tricolore. If that rings a faint bell somewhere, you may have been reminded that Pagani created a Zonda Tricolore as one of the endless ‘This is really the last Zonda’ creations to flog a one-off to someone with more money than they can fritter themselves without help from Horacio. The 2003 Toyota Fine S Hydrogen FCEV Toyota has done a great job of turning the car buying public on to alternative powertrains with it Hybrid setup in the Prius, and now it plans to go the same route with a hydrogen-powered production Toyota. Despite Toyota’s headline commitment to hybrid cars, it has been beavering away for a long time with fuel cell technology for its cars. The photo at the top is of the 2003 Toyota Fine-S Concept which was developed to test the fledgeling hydrogen fuel cell setup, and Toyota were running fuel cell cars in Japan and California at this time too, although not, as far as we know, the Fine S.

Goodwood Revival – with Mr Bean

Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean will feature at this year's Goodwood Revival But one big petrolhead – who is a Goodwood regular – is Rowan Atkinson, and Goodwood has persuaded him to recreate the Mr Bean sketch – for it is Rowan who is Mr Bean – driving a Mini whilst seated on the roof ,utilising a variety of household articles to control the Mini from a comfy armchair. I can’t confess to being a Mr Bean fan (although I adore Black Adder), but Mr Bean has made Rowan a very rich man, so I’m sure it will prove a big draw. Apart from his daily sketch recreation, Rowan will be driving a 1965 Austin Mini Cooper S in the St Mary’s Trophy saloon car race, which this year is all-Mini and recreates a Mini race that took place at Goodwood in the early sixties.
